Day 01 Arrive in Delhi
Late night arrival at Delhi's International airport. Upon arrival you shall be welcomed by one of the Mondial Trails representatives and you will be transferred to the hotel.

Delhi, the capital of India is one of most spectacular cities of the world. Here history meets modernity. Historically Delhi was founded 7 times at seven different places. Finally the 8th Capital city New Delhi, founded by British remains the modern capital of India.

Day 02 Delhi
After breakfast, combined full day sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi. Start your visit with Old Delhi, founded in 17th century by the 5th great Moghul Emperor Shahjahan. Visit the famous Jama Masjid (Friday mosque). Later take a brisk walk in the winding lanes of Old Delhi to get the real taste of India. Visit the Mahatama Gandhi Memorial and take a panoramic tour of India gate & President House

Later visit Qutub Minar, the tallest 12th century minaret situated in the South of Delhi. Before sunset visit a Sikh Temple, known as Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. A place where you see the fervor of Sikh community.

Day 03 Delhi-Amritsar (Train)
Early morning transfer to the New Delhi Railway station to board the train for Amritsar. Upon arrival. Check-in to the hotel. Afternoon visit the famous pilgrimage centre of the Sikh community, the temple known as Harmandir Sahib or the Golden Temple. Later in the afternoon drive to Wagah Border to witness the closing ceremony of the frontier gates on Indo-Pakistan Border.

Day 04 Amritsar-Dharamshala (200kms)
After breakfast drive to Dharamshala. Upon arrival check-in to the hotel and in afternoon visit the monastery in Mcleodganj which is the seat of H.H. Dalai Lama. Late afternoon stroll in the local market of Mcleodganj.

Day 05 Dharamshala
Full day sight seeing of Dharamshala, visiting other monasteries and museums. Aftrenoon excursion to Kangra Devi temple.

Day 06 Dharamshala-Chandigarh (240kms)
Early morning after breakfast, drive to Chandigarh. Check-in upon arrival and in the afternoon visit the famous Rock Garden and Sukhna lake.

Day 07 Chandigarh- Haridwar (210kms)
Drive to Haridwar/Rishikesh. Afternoon attend the pooja ceremony on the Ghats of river Ganges in Haridwar.

Day 08 Haridwar
Morning visit famous suspension bridges over river Ganges named as Ram Jhula & Laxman Jhula. Also visit shiva temple across the river. Afternoon you can visit few of the Ashrams in Rishikesh. Attend evening Aarti ceremonies near Triveni Ghat.

Overnight in Haridwar/Rishikesh.
   
Day 08 Haridwar-Unchagaon (200kms)
Drive to Unchagaon, a small village situated on the banks of River Ganges. Here you will be staying in a colonial structure transformed into a heritage hotel, situated in the middle of the village, the village completely far away from the hustle & bustle of the city. You get the absolute ambience of Rural India. Afternoon indulge into different local activities or simply relax or take a stroll in the green fields around.

Day 09 Unchagaon-Agra (220kms)
After breaksfast drive to Agra. Upon arrival, check-in and Proceed to Agra. Afternoon visit the Red Fort. Again of the most important capitals of Mughals. Most of the construction is in Red sand stone with a moderate use of Marble. Later visit the beautiful white marble Taj Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. One of the most beautiful monuments of India never fails to amaze a first time visitor. As soon as you travesrse the redsandstone entrance, awesomely you see the striking contrast of white marble with green grass and the blue sky in the backdrop of the Taj. The white marble exterior changes colour according to the position of the sun during the day and is matched by the rich interior detail.(Taj mahal closed on Fridays).

Day 10 Agra-Delhi (210Kms)
In the morning after breakfast visit the Red Fort. Later visit the artisans atelier to see the intricate Marble inlay work.

After lunch drive to Delhi. Upon arrival at Delhi farewell dinner in a restaurant serving typical Indian food. Transfer to the international airport to take your flight for further destination.
